On Thursday police confirmed that a 17 year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been charged with murder. The boy appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Thursday. He did not enter a plea. The 17-year-old was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in November. A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating the death of a woman in Warrington have charged a 17-year-old boy. "The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Tuesday, August 29, and has since been charged with murder. "The charge relates to an incident which police were called to at around 9.40am on Tuesday 29 August in Phoenix Place, Warrington.
