Love Island’s most successful losers proving it’s better to NOT win ITV show

Love Island has crowned a string of couples over its 10 series, but those who don’t win the show go on to have incredible successful careers earning big bucks, too

Love Island stars come and go but hefty bank balances after the programme are hard to come by. Research shows those who don’t win are better off in the long run.

Over the years the likes of Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay, Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have won the show but it appears they’re far from earning millions on social media. Viewers have been gripped to their screens since the show debuted in 2015, with several former Islanders going on to marry and have children.

But those who walk away from the final without the crown and, often, without the relationship status tend to end up becoming better off in the long run, when it comes to finances. New research shows that the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, who finished second place in series five, and Olivia Attwood, who placed third in series three, are the show’s top earners.

After leaving the villa, many Islanders go on to land brand deals with a string of different brands from beauty and fast fashion to food and drinks deals – earning eye-watering sums of money. Research by BestCasioSites.net shows recently engaged Molly-Mae and Tommy are Love Island’s top earners for sponsored Instagram posts.
