Love Island’s Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan are fresh out the villa only a few months ago â but life seemingly wasn’t that easy out in the real world
Love Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan admit finding things hard after winning ITV’s winter season earlier this year. The loved-up couple are celebrating six months since leaving the villa in South Africa, but not everything’s gone smoothley.
Speaking at Friday night’s National Diversity Awards, Kai detailed struggles post-Love Island, explaining the couple felt “thrown out”. After their big win, the two admitted difficulties finding their feet and feeling pressure from the outside world.
“It takes a while because all of a sudden you get thrown out and it’s like ‘ah you need to be doing this’,” Kai explained. The reality TV star attended the glitzy awards show, held in Liverpool, alongside Sanam as the pair looked every bit the happy couple.
He told Liverpool Echo: “It takes a bit of time to understand what you want to do, but as soon as you get it, you get clarity in your mind, you just keep going with it and it’s amazing. We came out with each other.”
