Love Island: Former star Liam Reardon defends show’s age limit

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Ex-Love Islander Liam Reardon weighed in on the show’s age limit discussion and admitted he failed to see anything wrong in entering the dating series as an 18-year-old.

The former bricklayer, 23, won the popular ITV reality phenomenon with his then-partner Millie Court back in 2021 and made his television debut at 21, himself.

Commenting on the debate that was sparked among the public after Amber Wise, 19, appeared as a bombshell on the current series, the star explained that he felt there was nothing ‘wrong legally’ with how the fixture operated its casting.

After viewers watched Amber shed tears over her tumultuous beginnings with Sammy Root, 22, they questioned the age requirement asked of recruiters, with some claiming it should be higher.
