TV presenter Ruth Langsford has been supported by her fans after giving a health update following being absent from her ITV daytime show Loose Women
Loose Women star Ruth Langsford has given a health update to her fans after she missed the ITV show for a third day.
The TV presenter, 63, has been off air for the past few days as she recovers at home. Ruth took to her social media to share an update to her followers. She confessed she had been struck with an illness and has been trying to make herself feel better using home remedies. Posting on her Instagram, Ruth shared a snap of orange, ginger, lemon, cinnamon sticks and a bottle of Irish whiskey.
Alongside the pic, she wrote: “Still got the lurgy [angry face emoi].” Ruth added: ” So today I’m going again with the hot toddy… someone’s told me to add Tumeric (which I don’t like much!) Any other remedies gratefully received!” The Loose Women star posted a further update of herself pouring her remedy into a cup. She said: “Right… back to bed!”
Ruth finished off her health update with a pic of her dog Maggie snuggled up in bed and added: “My sick bed companion!” The TV star was flooded with well wishes from fans as one said: “Hope u feel better soon if not down the whisky.” Another joked: “Get better Soon Ruth ⦠is that an Irish Hot Toddyâ¦. See you when you wake in a couple of days then.” Pal Lizzie Cundy commented: “Hope you feel better darling,” and Doctor Amir Khan added: “Get well soon ruth xx”
