 Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has claimed she's not been invited to take part on Strictly Come Dancing for one particular reason. The new series has kicked off with a bang, seeing the likes of Love Island's Zara McDermott and EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier take to the dancefloor. Previously, Coleen's co-stars including Judi Love and Kaye Adams have competed for the glitterball trophy, but she's never been offered the chance to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse or Anton Du Beke. Instead, the 58-year-old performed on Dancing On Ice in 2009, which now makes her think she's not been invited onto Strictly. She explained: 'It's because I did Dancing On Ice, I've never done Strictly, which devastates me. 'Since that show started, I've always wanted to do Strictly, and so many Loose Women have done it, but they never ever ask me. 'But it's because apparently, I did Dancing On Ice, they don't have anyone who's done Dancing On Ice on Strictly.' 'But yes, Strictly is brilliant but I've kind of scrubbed it out of my bucket list because I know it's not going to happen.' Coleen's co-star Judi has previously spoken about her time on Strictly, telling Metro.co.uk that people 'don't understand the dedication' that goes into it. Speaking to Metro.co.uk on the red carpet of the 2022 Ethnicity Awards in partnership with Metro, Judi was asked about the contest, describing it as 'amazing.'
