Lizzo admits feeling ‘rough’ in interview days before dancers file lawsuit against her

In an interview with 60 Minutes Australia days before sexual and hostile allegations were made by her former dancers, Lizzo admitted to feeling ‘sad’ and ‘rough’

Lizzo got very emotional in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, and it’s now viewed in a new light after three of her former dancers filed a lawsuit against her.

In the interview, filmed days before the lawsuit became public, the 35-year-old singer admitted that she wasn’t feeling 100 percent. “Even today, I was having a rough day,” she said, “I was sad and stuff earlier today.”

“For some odd reason, even if I’m having a bad day or if I’m going through something, people still get good from it,” she said to interviewer Tom Steinfort. At the time of the interview, Tom and 60 Minutes Australia were not aware of the lawsuit.

Three of Lizzo’s ex-backup dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, brought a lawsuit against the Truth Hurts singer that accused star of sexual harassment and of creating a hostile work environment. The lawsuit also claimed that Lizzo bullied them for their weight.
