Liz Truss demanded a chilled bottle of sauvignon blanc in the fridge of every hotel room she stayed in, it has been revealed.
Embassies around the world were sent detailed instructions before her visits, including a warning there should “absolutely no mayonnaise on anything, ever”.
The superstar-style list of requests also made clear that while Ms Truss enjoyed double espressos, she should not be served “big brand coffee”.
