Liz Truss’s £4,000 ‘Jenga’ lectern tracked down as it finally gets new home

The higgledy-piggledy pile of bricks, specially made for her at a cost of £4,175 to taxpayers, had been left languishing in Downing Street after she only lasted 49 days as PM

Liz Truss’s £4,000 “Jenga” lectern has finally found a new home almost a year after she was booted out of No10.

The wooden monstrosity was specially made for her at a cost of £4,175 to taxpayers.

But it was left languishing in Downing Street as she only lasted 49 days as Prime Minister after she tanked the economy.

Now the Mirror can reveal that the higgledy-piggledy pile of bricks is no longer gathering dust and has been given a new lease of life.
