Jurgen Klopp: The Liverpool boss admits there is no quick fix to their issues (Image: Liverpool FC/YouTube)Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has admitted there is no “quick fix” to their issues after a disappointing start to the season and has challenged his side to fight against Napoli to turn around their form. The German tactician said he had some “sleepless nights” over their poor run of form which included a shock 2-1 home defeat to Leeds United on Saturday. The Reds face Napoli on Tuesday in the Champions League have already sealed their place in the last-16 knockout round, with Klopp’s men hoping to wrap up qualification as group winners. However, his side may go into the tie as slight underdogs given the Serie A outfit’s impressive run of form, while his side are out-of-sorts.Liverpool are currently ninth in the Premier League after winning only four of their opening 12 matches and face a battle to finish in the top four. And Klopp conceded that there is no fast solution to their issues, even revealing that he had suffered from sleepless nights following their defeat to Leeds.”I’m 55 so I have a couple of trips to the toilet during the night, that’s usually why I wake up,” he joked during his pre-match news conference. “But yeah, the goal (against Leeds) was on my mind.” Jurgen Klopp: The Liverpool boss wants more from his players (Image: AFP)It seems likely that Liverpool will explore the possibility of adding to their squad in January in a bid to avoid missing out on a top-four finish, with targets such as Jude Bellingham not expected to leave until next summer.Konrad Laimer and Marco Asensio have been linked with the Reds due to their expiring contracts, although signing players in the winter transfer window is not a typical move from Klopp.Earlier on, Klopp was asked whether he felt that his players could still deliver the performances he expected from his previous six seasons at Anfield. As ever, the charismatic boss backed his players to “fight” and prove their critics wrong, but also admitted there was no “quick fix” to their issues – hinting that transfers may not be the answer.
