With every passing major the pressure continues to grow on the world No. 2, but one man who believes the wait will come to an end soon is his former Ryder Cup teammate, turned LIV rival, Westwood. The Majesticks captain believes McIlroy still has his best years ahead of him, despite waiting so long to add to his major collection. Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Westwood said: "Rory will now go into a 10th season without having won a major, but to my mind he has not peaked yet and fared ridiculously well to win four majors before he was 25. I did not play my best golf until I was in my late 30s. "I got to world No. 1 and yes, I was given pelters from the US for somehow not being worthy of the moniker - and I believe Rory will be the same." The one glaring omission from McIlroy's CV is the Masters title, with the 34-year-old an Augusta victory away from achieving the career Grand Slam. The Masters Tournament will be McIlroy's next chance to end his soon-to-be 10-year drought, as the world of golf return to Augusta next April.
