Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez says Alejandro Garnacho ‘has no ceiling’ but has warned his young compatriot that he needs to go above and beyond to make the most of his talent.

The 18-year-old started for the first time in Thursday night’s 3-0 win over FC Sheriff in the Europa League and was a real livewire down the left flank, taking on players and creating chances.
Garnacho, who played for Spain’s Under-18 team but has now declared for Argentina, is regarded as one of United’s most promising young players and a future star.
Martinez certainly believes his compatriot has all the ingredients needed to go to the very top, though has revealed that he has been encouraging Garnacho to put in extra hours in order to make the grade for both United and Argentina.
