Lisa Marie’s ‘chronic Presley problem’ may have contributed to her death, says expert

Elvis Presley suffered from a range of health issues that he likely passed down to Lisa Marie. She went through her whole life with this chronic issue

Earlier this year, Lisa Marie, Elvis Presley’s daughter, passed away at the age of 54. Despite early reports that she died from cardiac arrest, her autopsy actually revealed her death was the result of a small bowel obstruction.

It didn’t come out of the blue, either. Lisa had been struggling with her health for years. In the months leading up to her death, her symptoms were only getting worse. She had reportedly been experiencing nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting. Plus, she was the victim of some heart issues and long-lasting fevers.

Although the coroner reported that the bowel obstruction was likely the result of a complication from a weight loss surgery, there may have been something more at play. Although this is a common issue, the weight-loss procedure had happened years prior. Lisa may, additionally, struggled with a hereditary issue.
