The inspirational star says she is coping the best she can and is no longer frightened about what's ahead of her. She had to watch beloved Bernie pass away back in 2013, after the disease returned and had metastasised to her brain, lungs, liver and bones the year before. But it's her late sibling who is helping her come to terms with the future and the Mirror's new columnist says she is even helping get her affairs in order. Linda continues her cancer fight and in a welcome development, realises her hair is growing again. But's she's no longer scared and is tackling the situation head on, with a smile on her face. "What happens when you die is a frightening thought," she told Best Magazine. "I was really scared that first night. But I dreamt of Bernie all night a few days later. We were laughing hysterically like we used to and we were sorting my will. "It was 'give that one this, give that one that' - when I woke up, I wasn't frightened any more. Can you believe that's how I feel?" Linda spoke of her joy after waking last week to find some of her hair had returned. Keeping fans up to date, she says she'll have to get the razor out after treatment left some growing out of her cheek! She told Mirror readers: "I have hair! That's quite the headline, isn't it? OK, it's not quite a ponytail, but there's definite fuzz. Think seal pup. If I stroke my head, it feels like velvet.
