Lil Nas X arrived late to his own film premiere amid an alleged ‘bomb threat’ that was targeted at the rapper ahead of his documentary being shown at the Toronto Film Festival
Lil Nas X was forced to arrive late to his own film premiere amid an alleged “bomb threat”, which is said to have been “targeted at the rapper”.
Due to be in attendance for the Toronto Film Festival in Canada for the premiere of his own documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero last night (September 9), the rapper ended up turning up late, which led to the event being delayed after an alleged bomb threat was called in, according to reports.
The premiere was due to begin at 10pm local time at the Roy Thomson Hall, with Lil Nas X delayed for 20 minutes in total. Prior to the rapper’s arrival, guests began to arrive with the documentary’s co-directors Carlos López Estrada and Zac Manuel and editor Andrew Morrow arriving on the red carpet to pose for the paparazzi. But sadly, Lil Nas X was nowhere to be seen at first.
