Well, that didn’t take long. I sat down opposite Roland Mouret five minutes ago and already the conversation has turned to sex. “I am trying to protect the person,” he says of his approach to design. He has lived in the UK for nearly 30 years, but his French accent is still as thick as crème brûlee. “I don’t want the fabric to hurt you or restrain you. It’s like having sex with someone you want to have sex with for the rest of your life. It’s not a casual hook-up.
