Lidl worker ‘obsessed with mass shootings planned revenge attack on old school’

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A Lidl warehouse worker obsessed with the Dunblane and Columbine mass shootings turned his home into a weapons factory while plotting a ‘revenge’ attack on his old school, a court has heard.

Reed Wischhusen, 32, is said to have penned a 1,700-word manifesto outlining his intended ‘hitman-style attack’, naming 10 ex-classmates, teachers and police staff as targets.

After killing teachers and bombing Priory School, in Worle, Somerset, he planned to target Avon and Somerset Police’s headquarters before taking his own life, Bristol Crown Court was told.

Jurors heard armed officers were forced to shoot Wischhusen three times after he pointed a handgun at them while they searched the house for weapons in November 2022.
