NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Emotions were running high in Camden at Liam Gallagher’s sold out gig at Koko London on Thursday after he was reunited with his former bandmate, Oasis guitarist Bonehead, after a long time apart.
The highly-anticipated gig was announced at the end of June in order to celebrate the launch of Liam’s Knebworth 22 live album which is out tomorrow.
Bonehead, 58, is a founding member of the Britpop band, and was diagnosed with tonsil cancer last year.
Real name Paul Arthurs, he had announced his pending absence from Liam’s live shows, including the back-to back iconic Knebworth gigs, in April last year writing on Twitter: ‘Just to let you all know I’m going to be taking a break from playing for a while. I’ve been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, but the good news is it’s treatable and I’ll be starting a course of treatment soon.
