Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are likely to be thrilled at the news that the Mexico City Grand Prix will remain on the calendar until 2025. The race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit will stay on the calendar for at least another four seasons as part of the new contract.Verstappen has won three of the last four races at the historic venue which returned to the calendar in 2015. Meanwhile, Hamilton has also secured vital wins at the circuit, standing on the top-step of the podium in 2016 and 2019.The Mercedes star’s fourth-place finish was enough to help him secure his fifth F1 crown at the circuit back in 2018. Hamilton has praised Mexico’s place on the calendar in previous years. He said in 2018: ‘Look at how beautiful Mexico is. I love this country and more so its people!’F1 has claimed the Mexico City Grand Prix will attract 350,000 spectators this weekend.
