But on this occasion they outclassed the Toffees, though one aspect of their game caught the eye, with many of their 11 corners being played short, including the one that lead to the winning goal. 'They [Everton] have a lot of tall guys and they're good on set-pieces. We wanted to exploit them. We work hard on everything tactically,' Trossard told Sky Sports post-match. 'It's always nice to help your team, especially with a winning goal. I think it's a great action. I called B [Bukayo Saka] and he saw me with a perfect lay-off. It went in perfectly and I'm very happy. 'I've been practicing all my life on both feet and you can see it helps you. It's so helpful if you're good on both feet – you can go both ways and score off either. 'We knew [about the poor record at Goodison Park] and we wanted to win the game. It's always a hard game, they give you a hard time but we defended the box well, got a couple of chances and took one of those chances.' Arteta echoed his winger's words, telling BBC Sport: 'We have to keep finding different weapons to win games. We win a lot of corners and we have to maximise that, for sure. 'It was a long time without a win here. We played a great game, we didn't give anything away. We dominated the game and created numerous chances. The score should probably have been bigger.
