Latest twist for Love Island could lead to brutal wave of mass dumpings

New series will kick off in January, bringing former stars of the show together for a second shot at love – and Georgia Harrison reckons there will be a string of broken hearts

It’s set to be one of Love Island ‘s most brutal mass dumpings yet.

Love Island All Stars will kick off in January, bringing former stars of the series together for a second shot at finding love… and a bit more fame. Georgia Harrison – who starred in Series 3 – quipped that there will be a string of broken hearts left in the wake of stars desperately clamouring to return to the villa.

“Can we all have a minute’s silence for anyone in the early stages of a relationship with an ex-Islander,” she joked yesterday. Love Island will recruit former stars from the UK, US and Australian series to appear in the much anticipated All Stars edition, which will film in Cape Town at the start of 2024.

This summer, returning Love Islander Kady McDermott was rumoured to have split from her boyfriend very shortly before entering the villa, which prompted speculation she wasn’t entirely single. Creative Director Mike Spencer said: “It’s set to be a must-watch series seeing some of your favourite Islanders from across the years heading back to the stunning South African villa to once again ‘graft’ as their search for love continues. I simply can’t wait.”
