And the Brit is still very much regarded as a world champion of the future. But, despite coming close on several occasions, he has yet to win a race in the series. Dutch analyst Allard Kalff believes there is a reason behind that and thinks Piastri, who won several titles in the junior formulae, has an attribute that Norris may be lacking. "They are the same type, they have to fight for it," he said in a programme on Dutch broadcaster Viaplay, comparing Piastri to Verstappen. "He [Piastri] had to become champion every time to continue."
