The late designer passed away from a rare and aggressive form of cancer in November 2021 at just 41 years of age. The fashion world was shocked, and close friends including Kylie paid tribute to the designer once news of his death spread. Kylie added: "I have very early memories with Virgil. He used to work with Kanye and I just felt like it would be really special to honour him and wear his clothes. I love his work. I love everything he's done, so it's very special." In the episode, viewers will see Kylie don a a strapless white gown as she jokes: "It feels like my wedding day." Kylie Jenner has revealed why she chose to wear an unusual wedding dress look for the Met Gala in May.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 25 year old explains why she chose the striking look.
Kylie starts off by explaining that she had no plans at all to attend the annual fashion event, especially after giving birth to her second child.
However the cosmetics entrepreneur decided she would attend as a tribute to her late friend, Off-White founder Virgil Abloh.
