Paris Saint-Germain will post club recorded losses of £317million for their most recent set of accounts as Kylian Mbappe’s eye-watering contract details were leaked.
Mbappe signed a new three-year contract at the Parc des Princes earlier this year. Recent reports have claimed that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January, as his future was once again thrust into the limelight earlier this month.
He initially refused to commit his future to PSG following suggestions of an exit. “For now, a second World Cup,” the France international recently said when quizzed on his alleged transfer request. “After that, I don’t know.”
These figures came amid a flurry of arrivals in the summer transfer of 2021 in which they invested heavily in their first-team squad. Les Parisiens managed to sign both Lionel Messi from Barcelona in a high-profile summer transfer and Sergio Ramos â the outgoing captains of Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively â alongside a host of other household names.
