Kyle Sinckler remembers the week England last beat the All Blacks vividly.
His body was wrecked after the World Cup quarter-final in Oita, Japan, against Australia. England won, he scored, New Zealand were next but his energy was spent.
And then Eddie Jones called a meeting. Sunday morning. Nine o’clock.
“Normally Sunday is a day off, recovery, you never really see Eddie,” Sinckler explains.
“Everyone was like ‘what’s happened here? Has anyone done anything!?'”
