King Charles honoured a young man who suffered an undiagnosed autistic condition as a child who later served in the RAF. The new monarch paid tribute to Alex Anderson who won the Prince’s Trust Young Achiever at the The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.The head of The Prince’s Trust praised the achievements of one of the first people with Asperger’s syndrome to serve in the air force.His Royal Highness said: ‘His is an inspirational story of triumph over adversity that shows how tenacity, courage and hard work can make even the most impossible dream come true.
