 is set to make a huge discovery in upcoming Emmerdale scenes following the events of a new spoiler video. The Home Farm matriarch is minding her own business during the clip when Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) arrives in search of Lydia (Karen Blick). When Kim reveals that she has called in sick again, Mandy's guard is up instantly, as she suggests that maybe Lydia is deliberately trying to avoid Kim. Having got the wrong end of the stick completely, Mandy admonishes Kim for giving Lydia a hard time and taking her for granted. Kim shoots back that she's been giving her full sick pay, and Mandy is quick to back track, before seeing herself out. Kim tries to help Lydia (Picture: ITV) As she leaves, it becomes clear that Kim is questioning whether Lydia really is sick, or if there's something else going on. Viewers will know that Lydia has been struggling after being raped by Craig (Ben Addis) at work. She has kept her ordeal completely to herself, though that is all set to change in upcoming scenes when Kim finds her sobbing after an altercation with Mandy. Having overheard Samson (Sam Hall) on the phone to Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) talking about Craig and Lydia, Mandy assumes that they are having an affair, and is quick to confront her about it. Lydia is quick to cover, but leaves Mandy worried and unconvinced as she rushes off in a panic. Kim is alarmed when she later finds upset Lydia, who decides she can't keep her harrowing ordeal to herself anymore, and explains everything to concerned Kim. It isn't long before Lydia is heartbroken once again as Kim insists that she tell Sam (James Hooton) everything. Will she go through with it?
