Jordan Peele had fans on the edge of their seat once again with the release of his latest horror flick, Nope.
With the movie, starring Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya, Brandon Perea and Steven Yeun, he turned the sci-fi genre upside down with his own take on aliens and their relationship with humans and animals.
The critically-acclaimed film follows brother and sister duo OJ (Kaluuya) and Emerald (Palmer), who discover an otherworldly phenomenon taking over the skies above their horse ranch, and enlist the services of Angel (Perea) and Antlers (Michael Wincott) to capture it on film.
Despite seeing a glimpse of what appeared to be OJ on his horse just before the credits rolled – which suggested that he survived the final showdown with the creature – many on social media questioned whether this was a hallucination from Emerald’s part, adding another layer to Jordan’s movie.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk ahead of the home entertainment release, Keke and Brandon had their say on what the ending truly meant.
