Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion now: Unusable pool to rubbish-filled garden

Katie’s 19-room home in Sussex was given a glossy makeover last year in a Channel 4 series, Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, but the former glamour model moved out of the property over summer

Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion has fallen into disrepair with rubbish strewn in the garden despite the property’s glossy TV makeover.

The Sussex mansion was the subject of the Channel 4 show Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, which followed the mum-of-five as she and a team of experts set about transforming the dilapidated abandoned mansion into a cosy family home. However, new pictures show the 10-acre estate with rubbish and junk on the driveway and garden, as well as overgrown grass and weeds.

Katie’s cars can be seen on the drive, but the swimming pool is covered in moss and grime, and litter has been strewn around the back door. It’s not known if the property is undergoing more renovations, as there is a large skip on the driveway, but Katie recently admitted she had moved out of the mansion because it was too big for her. The former glamour model is mum to Harvey, 21, Junior, 18, Princess, 16, nine-year-old Jett and eight-year-old Bunny, and she confessed during an episode of her podcast that it was time to move on.

“I’m still thinking of renting it, it’s just too big for me. I’m always up in Essex at the minute. I want to get something smaller. I don’t know,” she told her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show last month. “I just think this house gives me bad luck. It’s such a good family home but it is too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess.” Her comments come after she said the mansion would be her “forever home”, and insisted that despite the white carpets and beige furniture in the kitchen and living room, it was an ideal family home.
