 Katie Price is to face questioning in court over her finances. A judge confirmed on Friday that the former glamour model would be questioned on the subject, after she first declared bankruptcy in 2019. Judge Paul Greenwood was presiding over a hearing at a specialist insolvency and companies court today where the court heard that a public examination over her finances had previously been adjourned. Price did not appear at the hearing and was not represented. Barrister Darragh Connell said trustees are seeking re-listing of the examination and questioning of the mum-of-five after she reportedly breached a payment agreement. He said they are now 'at the stage where this matter needs to be expeditiously dealt with.' At a previous bankruptcy hearing in October 2020, Price had apologised to the court, saying she 'haven't been able to deal with these issues or in the right mental state to understand everything that has been going on.' She said creditors could think her movements to repay would be 'too little too late' but insisted her 'progress is real.' In February last year she avoided jail for a second time over her bankruptcy as she stuck a 'last-minute deal.' Katie, who was once worth £40m, was declared bankrupt in November 2019. She had been due to appear in court to explain her attempts to pay off the £3.2 million debt she owes to creditors.
