Kate won’t be ‘insecure’ like Diana and is confident Princess of Wales

Kate Middleton has now been Princess of Wales for around two months after her husband Prince William was made Prince of Wales – but she is tackling the role differently to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, according to a royal expert

It has been two months since the Princess of Wales assumed her brand new title after the sad death of the Queen

The creation of Prince William as Prince of Wales saw Kate take the title once held by her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, meaning it is now back in use for the first time in 25 years.

Almost straight away, the comparisons between the two women started – even though sources at the time said Kate wanted to “create her own path”.

And now she is two months into her new role, one royal expert has said that although there are some similarities between the pair – Kate is much more confident and won’t resort to self-deprecation and wisecracks like Diana.
