Lottie Moss has opened up about her relationship with her famous sister Kate, admitting that they ‘never been close’ despite sharing the same father Pete Moss
In a candid revelation, Lottie Moss, the 25-year-old half-sister of supermodel Kate Moss, has admitted that they have “never been close”. Despite sharing the same father, Pete Moss, their relationship remains distant and complex.
Lottie was thrust into the modelling world after serving as a bridesmaid at Kate’s wedding to her now ex-husband Jamie Hince in 2011, an event captured by Vogue. However, this familial connection hasn’t translated into a close-knit bond between the sisters. Lottie has now confessed she and her 49-year-old sister do not “see eye to eye on many things”, but acknowledged that “family is complicated”.
She said: “Me and my sister have never been close. There is a big age gap.” She further revealed the financial struggles of their early life, stating, “I didn’t grow up with my sister giving us money. We had a tiny two-bedroom house. My parents were bankrupt. I paid for my private school myself with the money I made modelling.”
Lottie also touched upon her sister’s personal battles. Speaking to The Sun’s magazine Fabulous, she revealed: “My sister has obviously struggled with things herself. She’s allowed to have that. She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me.”
