Kate Middleton sports yet another ‘serious’ business suit as she overhauls royal style

Kate Middleton ventured to East London today to visit youth intervention charity – Streets of Growth – to learn about how it is transforming the lives of young people at risk of violence and criminality

The Princess of Wales continued to show she means business by rocking yet another serious trouser suit on a visit to an important charity.

Kate ventured to East London to pay a visit to Streets of Growth, a charity which aims to transform the lives of young people between the ages of 15 and 20, who are identified as being at risk of becoming trapped in a cycle of isolation, exploitation, criminality and violence. For the outing, Kate wore a chic camel Roland Mouret trouser suit – the sixth time in a row she’s sported a trouser and blazer combo for a serious business-like look.

Last week she wore a striking navy Alexander McQueen suit to HMP High Down and while cheering on England against Argentina at the Rugby World Cup earlier this month, she also wore an all-white trouser ensemble. Even while recording an episode of Mike Tindall’s podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, Kate opted for a Catherine Walker blazer and tailored trousers.

The Streets of Growth charity was established over 20 years ago following the model of another organisation called Roca, which was set up in the US city of Boston and was visited by both Kate and Prince William last year. Speaking with a team of frontline workers, she said: “Young people get judged on their external behaviour but you have to understand their backstory. They haven’t probably seen trusting relationships in their lives so that’s so important.”
