Kanye West has returned to Twitter after having his account restricted following a slew of vile anti-Semitic comments, but the rapper has now sparked a fresh controversy
Kanye West has sparked new accusations of anti-Semitism, after the rapper made his return to Twitter following Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform.
Kanye, also known as Ye, had his Twitter account restricted last month following vile anti-Semitic comments, but returned to the platform on Thursday to post a picture of Brooklyn Nets basketball player Kyrie Irving.
The 30-year-old NBA star is himself facing criticism for sharing a link to an anti-Semitic film on social media.
Following his post, Kyrie and the Nets agreed to donate $500,000 each to “causes and organisations that work to eradicate hate and intolerance in our communities”.
