Kanye West was reportedly planning to move his Donda Academy to a church in Los Angeles, but it looks as though he will have to rethink after locals were left in uproar
Kanye West has hit a major roadblock in his plans to move his Donda Academy to Los Angeles, according to reports.
The rapper is said to have been planning to move the private Christian school to Cornerstone Christian Church in San Fernando Valley after attending services at the church. However, more than 12,000 angry locals have reportedly signed a petition pleading with the pastor to turn him down.
Pastor Ronald Nagin had admitted to having meetings with Kanye about the move, despite the 46-year-old facing widespread criticism for his series of anti-Semitic remarks. He was also dropped by a number of brands including Adidas and Gap following his racist outbursts.
Kanye, legally known as Ye, has previously hosted Sunday Service at the church. However, a source has claimed plans for him to move the Donda Academy have now fallen through.
