Andy Reid has outlined the challenges that he will be setting to Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes ahead of the start of the pre-season training camp
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has revealed plans to give star quarterback Patrick Mahomes “new challenges” this off-season.
The Chiefs are preparing for their defence of the Super Bowl, which they won against the Philadelphia Eagles in February. The triumph was the second Super Bowl ring that Mahomes and Reid have won during their time with the franchise.
July 18 saw the Chiefs rookies and new signings arrive for the first day of training camp. The full roster is not due to report back until July 23, but Mahomes was in attendance as the team’s star quarterback.
The remainder of the summer will see the Chiefs take part in three pre-season games in preparation for the 2023 NFL regular season. Those three games will be against the New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals and the Cleveland Browns.
