Justin Fields shows true colours after Chicago Bears beaten by Green Bay Packers

Justin Fields has offered his apology to Chicago Bears fans and his teammates after the Week One loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in the first game of the new NFL season

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields refused to shirk responsibility as he gave an honest reflection on the team’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Bears were beaten 38-20 in the NFC North divisional match-up on Sunday in the opening game of the new NFL season. It means that the Bears go 0-1 and have lost to a divisional rival after the opening weekend of the new season.

Fields completed 24-37 passes with one touchdown pass and 216 total passing yards. He did have an interception, though, which resulted in a pick-six for Packers linebacker Quay Walker.

As he enters his third season in the NFL, Fields will be hoping to guide the Bears to a successful year after a disappointing 3-14 record in 2022. The 11th overall pick from the 2021 NFL Draft has been the starting QB ever since he arrived at Soldier Field.
