A video shared on social media by the group - which is calling on the government to commit to ending new fossil fuel licensing and production - shows the protestors being booed as they are dragged away by security staff. The environmental group tweeted: "The pair set off confetti cannons and sounded air horns, demanding the UK government immediately halt all new oil and gas consents and licences. "They attempted to address the audience before being forcibly removed." Just Stop Oil added: "Tonight's action comes in response to the BBC's underwhelming coverage of the climate emergency. "In recent weeks, the BBC has been accused of 'false balance' as well as uncritically regurgitating government and oil company propaganda." A BBC spokesperson said: "There was no disruption to the concert or the broadcast during the few seconds the protesters were on stage." The BBC told The Mirror there were no air horns or confetti cannons as the environmental group claimed - and added there was no disruption to the concert or broadcast. The environmental group has targeted a number of events this year, including Wimbledon, the Chelsea Flower Show and the Ashes.
