JP Morgan ignored Epstein’s ties to ‘nymphettes’, lawsuit claims

US Virgin Islands also alleges bank paid Ghislaine Maxwell $25 million and hundreds of thousands of dollars to the late financier’s victims.

Jeffrey Epstein’s bank paid Ghislaine Maxwell $25 million (£19 million) and ignored his ties to “nymphettes”, a lawsuit against the late financier has claimed.

The United States Virgin Islands unveiled the accusations against JP Morgan in a filing to Manhattan federal court after several months of investigation turned over hundreds of thousands of pages of internal bank documents and led to the depositions of current and former banking staff

JP Morgan countered that the US Virgin Islands was also to blame for allowing Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women and teenage girls, saying the territory used its powers to enable these crimes.

The bank accused the territory of facilitating visas that allowed Epstein to bring victims, and of “looking the other way” whenever Epstein arrived at local airports accompanied by young women and girls.
