Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is preparing for his first season after the exit of Aaron Rodgers and impressed during the pre-season win against the Cincinnati Bengals
Jordan Love is in agreement with Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur after the team’s recent pre-season win.
The Packers claimed a 36-19 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night in the team’s first pre-season game of the summer. Sean Clifford, the No.149 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, started the game and threw one touchdown pass with two interceptions for 208 yards.
Love is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Packers this season following the departure of Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. Love was drafted in 2020 with the No.26 overall pick and had served as back-up to Rodgers prior to this off-season.
The 24-year-old did take part in several offensive snaps for the Packers in the win over the Bengals. He completed 7-10 total passes for 46 yards with one touchdown pass and no interceptions in an impressive, but brief, performance for Green Bay.
