Rahm however had other ideas, as he rolled in a remarkable putt for eagle to tie the match, and continue the American frustrations. Afterwards it appeared these frustrations were bubbling over as Koepka took aim at Masters champion Rahm. He said post-round: "I mean, I think me and Scottie [Scheffler] birdied, what did we say, 14, we birdied 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and then lost by two. So yeah. I mean, I want to hit a board and pout just like Jon Rahm did. But, you know, it is what it is. Act like a child. But we're adults. We move on.' Koepka's comments took many by surprise, with tensions between the two seemingly not an issue when they were out on the course. Almost 24 hours on Jon Rahm has cleared up what his American rival may well have been getting at with his 'childish' comments. 'I'm not going to stand here and say I'm the perfect example of what to do on a golf course, I don't think either of us (sitting next to Tyrrell Hatton) are, I play and compete the way I think I need to play and compete.
