 Johnny Depp shocked locals in Wales as he paid a surprise visit to the suburban birthplace of the poet Dylan Thomas. The 60-year-old actor strolled down Cwmdonkin Drive in Swansea's Uplands, turning heads as he went and leaving residents gawking in awe. He was in the area to take a look around the home of poet during his tour with his rock band Hollywood Vampires. Following his touristy day out, the star admitted he was 'still floating' and labelled himself a Thomas 'fiend'. The A-lister kept it uber causal for his adventure in Wales and wore a crocheted beanie over his mop of shoulder-length locks. He covered his eyes with a pair of aviator sunglasses and gripped a crutch as he posed in front of the writer's heritage sign. During his visit to the historic site, the star shared more about his love for Thomas and opened up to Nation Cymru. He said: 'I'm still floating a little having been in the room where Under Milk Wood began and so many poems were written. So dumfounded. 'It's such a strong… doing this visit you get to see where his thoughts came from and it's a lot to take in if you're a fiend like I am.
