Former New York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco has expressed his desire to continue playing in the NFL as he remains a free agent going into what would be his 16th season in the league
NFL free agent quarterback Joe Flacco says he is “available” to be signed by a new team should any come calling.
Flacco was most recently with the New York Jets before leaving as a free agent at the end of last season. The 38-year-old played just five games for the Jets throughout the 2022 regular season, completing five touchdown passes for a total of 1,051 passing yards with three interceptions.
The veteran quarterback has played 15 seasons in the NFL, three of them with the Jets. He is now a free agent after the Jets brought in four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers to be the starting quarterback after a trade with the Green Bay Packers.
Despite being a free agent, Flacco has a great deal of experience when it comes to being a franchise quarterback. In his fifth season in the NFL, Flacco helped the Baltimore Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers.
