The cast for series two of the hit Netflix show Quarterback is yet to be announced, and a string of high profile names have rejected the opportunity, but Joe Burrow could give the behind the scenes show a huge boost
Joe Burrow could be about to perform a U-turn after initially ruling out appearing in the second series of the hugely popular Netflix show Quarterback.
The Cincinnati Bengals star said last week he is open-minded to appear on the fly-on-the-wall show in the future, but not for the 2023 season. However, he could have very quickly changed his mind, according to a peculiar report from Peter King.
King is one of the most revered and well-connected writers in the sport, and in his Football Morning In America column on Monday, he offered his thoughts on the show, which has lingered around the top of the charts on the streaming platform since it debuted on July 12.
King called for the second series to be more immersive, focusing deeper on the life of a quarterback rather than the external noise of pundits on talk shows, and added: “I hold out hope for the next season to be even more inside, starting with the calf injury to 2023 series participant Joe Burrow.”
