President’s comments come as Twitter launches then kills off “grey ticks”
Joe Biden last night called for a review of Elon Musk’s relationships with foreign powers as the billionaire laid out plans for a radical overhaul of Twitter.
The US President said “Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at.”
“Whether he is doing anything inappropriate, I’m not suggesting that. I’m suggesting they’re worth being looked at,” said Mr Biden, speaking at a press conference after the mid-term elections.
Last month the tech mogul denied reports he had spoken with Russian despot Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine.
