Aquaman star Jason Momoa left little to the imagination live on the Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show by stripping down to nothing but his Hawaiian Malo in front of the studio audience
Jason Momoa wowed fans on Wednesday by stripping down to a traditional Hawaiian Malo in the middle of an interview with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
The Aquaman star, who was born in Honolulu before being raised in Iowa, USA, appeared on the show to promote his new movie, Slumberland, in which he stars as Flip – an eccentric character who has to guide a young girl through a world of dreams.
The chat will be remembered for different reasons, however, after the 43-year-old paid homage to his roots by revealing almost all in the thong-like attire from his homeland.
After host Kimmel asked the star about what he was wearing in a recent Instagram video in which he went skipjack tuna fishing, Momoa explained: “That’s a traditional Malo, it’s what the Hawaiians wear.”
