Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho could be handed an unlikely career lifeline by an old rival in the January transfer window following his public spat with Erik ten Hag
German giants Bayern Munich have reportedly emerged as a leading contender to rescue Jadon Sancho from his Manchester United nightmare.
Sancho, 23, lit up the Bundesliga across a four-year spell with Borussia Dortmund but has struggled to emulate that form in the Premier League since moving to Old Trafford in a £73million deal back in the summer of 2021.
The forward’s future is currently unclear after he became embroiled in a public spat with United manager Erik ten Hag this week, with the Dutchman hinting Sancho had been dropped from last weekend’s matchday squad due to his poor performances in training.
Sancho instantly hit back on social media and could now be exiled from the Manchester United team after claiming that he had been made a “scapegoat” by his manager.
