Jack Willis: Wasps’ demise made me weep – I hope I play for them again one day

A few days after the entire Wasps playing and coaching staff had been made redundant in a brutally abrupt meeting at the club’s training ground, Jack Willis’s emotions were still painfully raw. The England flanker woke early one morning and began scrolling through photographs of all the times he had played for the club alongside his brother, Tom. “It was 7am and I woke up my partner Megan because I was blubbering into my phone,” Willis recalled.
