ITV axe show after just one series

Lorraine Kelly has been hit with a dramatic blow after ITV reportedly pulled the plug on her show, Queens For The Night after it failed to bring in huge audience numbers

ITV’s Queens For The Night is said to have been dropped by the network after failing to secure a large number of viewers which will be a blow for host Lorraine Kelly.

The programme saw several male celebrities including Adam Woodyatt and Coronation Street actor Simon Gregson become drag queens for the night, with the help of Kitty Scott-Claus and Myra Dubois.

But after just one series, the show will not be broadcasted again despite network bosses having hopes that it may become a frequent series for viewers to enjoy.

Sources claim that after just one series which aired last year, it will not be returning any time soon but there is scope to revive it in the future.
