But after just one series, the show will not be broadcasted again despite network bosses having hopes that it may become a frequent series for viewers to enjoy. Sources claim that after just one series which aired last year, it will not be returning any time soon but there is scope to revive it in the future. "The show was always thought of as a bit of a 'special' for ITV but there was always the hope it might take off and become a series," an insider said before adding: "That hasn't happened but it's the kind of programme channel bosses could bring back sporadically." They went on to tell The Sun: "It was a bold choice for ITV1 on a Saturday but a worthy one." Last year, ITV announced the glamourous show would be transmitted with Lorraine Kelly welcoming the likes of Melanie C, Rob Beckett, Courtney Act and Layton Williams sitting on the judging panel. Whereas the likes of Love Island star Chris Hughes, rugby ace Joe Marler and Mr Motivator all swapped their regular appearance to become drag queens. At the time of announcing the show, Lorraine couldn't contain her joy as she exclaimed: "I'm so excited to be hosting this show. "I am a huge fan of Drag and can not wait to see a host of well-known stars embrace this uniquely wonderful and uplifting skill. It's a show that will have humour, warmth and above all lots and lots of glamour, I can't wait to get started."
