NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Inter Milan have made a bid for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard, looking to beat the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal to the Frenchman.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Serie A side have made an offer worth €25m (£21.3m) for the World Cup-winning defender.
The 27-year-old has reportedly made it clear to Bayern that he is keen to leave this summer and experience a new league, be it in Italy or the Premier League.
Pavard is out of contract next season so there is certainly a price that Bayern will accept for him, but it may well be more than the £21.3m Inter have offered.
